Jewell F. Johnson

Martinez – Mrs. Jewell F. Johnson entered into rest on Thursday, May 22, 2014 at her residence.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm on Sunday, May 25, 2014 at Martinez Baptist Church with the Rev. Phillip Winsett officiating. Burial will follow at Bellevue Memorial Gardens.

Mrs. Johnson was a very loving mother, Nana and sister, and will be remembered by all for her giving and unconditional loving spirit.

She is survived by her sons, Larry Saxon and wife, Donnell, Donnie Saxon and partner, Tom Clark, her daughter, Judy Roland and husband, Kenny, a sister Margie Moore, a brother Tommy Fagan and wife, Gina, six grandchildren, eleven great grandchildren, as well as a sister in law, Bobbi Fagan.

Her husband, Ed Johnson, and husband, the father of her children, Edward Saxon, her brother, Earl Fagan and sister Faye O’Brien Worthy have all gone on before her.

Pallbearers will be Chris Roland, Jason Roland, Donald Saxon, David Bingham, Roger Jenkins and Dennis O’Brien.

If one doesn’t prefer to send flowers, memorials may be made in her honor to Martinez Baptist Church, 3632 Lynnwood Drive, Martinez, Ga., 30907.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Belair Road on Saturday evening, May 24, 2014 from 6:00 until8:00 pm.
