Jesse Eugene Peacock

AUGUSTA, Ga. - Mr. Jesse Eugene Peacock, age 84, died peacefully at his home Monday morning, February 15, 2010. He was the son of Jesse and Ruby Peacock. After serving a two year tour in the US Army, Mr. Peacock worked for the US Postal Service for 42 years. Jesse is survived by his wife, Maxine D. Peacock; two sons, Mark Peacock (Lynn) and Charles Peacock (Carol); four grandchildren, Kathryn Edmonds (Ty), Stephen Peacock, Mark Peacock, Jr., and Ellen Peacock; one great- grandchild, Champ Edmonds; and two sisters, Faye Landrum (Whitfield) and Shirley Deese (Ronnie). Funeral services will be held Thursday, February 18, 2010, at 3 p.m. at St. Luke United Methodist Church. Interment will follow at Westover Cemetery. Pallbearers will be grandsons, Stephen Peacock and Mark Peacock, Jr.; and nephews, Glenn Bohler, Tommy Yates, Michael Landrum, Larry Landrum, and Dell Hadden.
