Jerry Eugene Watkins, Jr.

Myrtle Beach, SC – Mr. Jerry Eugene Watkins, Jr., 45, entered into rest on Monday, August 8, 2016.

The family will gather to celebrate Jerry’s life on Sunday, August 14, 2016 from 3:00 until 5:00 PM at Platt’s Funeral Home, 721 Crawford Avenue.

Jerry worked in the pipe trade, and traveled all over the country working with many companies. He loved the beach, and riding his motorcycle whenever he could. He loved life, and he loved his family and friends. He was a good son and brother. But his most important role was being Colton, Justin, and Landon's dad.

Jerry is survived by his sons, Colton Avery Watkins, Justin Tanner Watkins, and Landon Wade Watkins; his mother, Kathy Warner Watkins; his brothers, Jason Watkins (Courtney), and Russell Watkins (Kaleigh); his sister, Tammy Moore (Nick); and numerous nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers the family has asked for donations to be made to the Jerry Eugene Watkins, Jr. Benefit Memorial Fund at any local Wells Fargo Bank.
