Jeffery Fite Counts

Martinez – Mr. Jeffery F. Counts, 45, entered into rest on Monday, October 13, 2014 at Doctors Hospital.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM on Thursday, October 16, 2014 at St. Mark United Methodist Church with the Rev. Charles Broome officiating. Burial will follow at Westover Memorial Park.

“Jeffro” was an avid motorcycle rider who supported many charities, a testament to his kind and generous heart. He was a member of St. Mark United Methodist Church, and enjoyed playing golf, singing karaoke, and was a Tennessee Vols fan.

He is survived by a son; Evan Counts, his mother; Carol Counts, and a brother; Jason Counts (Kelli). He’s also survived by a niece, a nephew, a great niece and great nephew, as well as numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. He was preceded in death by his father, James Mason Counts.

Pallbearers will be Jimmy Vowell, Mike Palmer, Darin King, Will Holmes, Eric Story and Rusty Williamson. Honorary pallbearers will be Billy Vowell, David Foshee, Richard Germaux, Raul Fernandez Jr., R.W. Wammock, Vance Crawford, Gene Barton, Ken Gauthreaux and Michael Wiggins.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday evening, October 15, 2014 from 6:00 until 8:00 PM.
