Jason Lamar Lister

Jason Lamar Lister, 44, of Augusta, GA, went home to be with his Lord and Savior May 4, 2017.

Jason was the beloved son of Donnie L. Lister of Grovetown, GA and Linda H. Lister of Greenville, SC. He was born in Nuremberg, Germany, raised in Augusta, and lived in Greenville for many years. He attended the University of Alabama. Jason was active and took much pride in his company of “Paladin PR.” He was also involved in many charity events with a great desire to improve downtown Augusta through the fine arts and film industry. He was a longtime member of Abilene Baptist Church and shared his love for the Lord freely.

Jason was a gifted writer and his genuine love for all people was unparalleled. His memory will live on in the many lives he touched and the love and laughter he brought into our lives.

In addition to his parents, Jason is survived by his aunt, Nancy H. Roddy; dear cousins, Kimberly Roddy, and Kevin Roddy and wife, Michelle and boys, Jackson and Owen, as well as his beloved dog, Lulu.

A visitation will be held at Platt’s Funeral Home in Evans, GA on Tuesday, May 9, 2017 from 6:00 until 7:30 p.m. followed by a memorial service. Funeral services will be held at Augusta Road Baptist Church in Greenville, SC on Thursday, May 11, 2017 with visitation from 12:30 until 1:45 p.m. followed by the service at 2:00 pm.
