Janice Cordell Martin

Evans, GA – Janice Cordell Martin, 67, loving wife of John Martin, entered into rest on Tuesday, May 13, 2014.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM on Sunday, May 18, 2014 at West Acres Baptist Church with Pastor Larry Harmon officiating. Burial will be held at a later date in North Carolina.

Janice was a member of West Acres Baptist Church. She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. She dedicated her life to her children and enjoyed spending time with her family. Janice loved to have fun and taking trips to the beach. She loved the holiday seasons baking and helping serve meals to family and just sharing memories and traveling to different places. Loved her dog Heidi and meeting new people. Her friends were dear to her and had many lifelong friends that she communicated with regularly.

In addition to her husband, survivors include three sons; Michael Martin of VA, Stephen Martin (April) of Grovetown, GA, Eric Martin of Evans, GA, one granddaughter; Elyzabeth Martin of Charlotte, NC, aunt; Winona Childres, cousin; Elizabeth Childres

The family will receive friends from 5:00 until 7:00 PM on Saturday, May 17, 2014 at the funeral home.
