Jane Horton Newman

Augusta, GA- Mrs. Jane Horton Newman, 55, wife of Mr. Mark Newman, entered into rest on Saturday, April 4, 2009 at Trinity Hospital.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, April 6, 2009 at 11:00 AM at Bethany Chapel with Bill Gustafson and Jules Godin officiating. Burial will follow in Westover Memorial Park.

Additional survivors include her father, William H. Horton of North Augusta, SC; two daughters, Jillian Newman and Callie Newman of Augusta, GA; and one brother, Robert Horton of Springboro, OH.

She was preceded in death by her mother the late Mrs. Elizabeth Wall Horton; one daughter, the late Miss Heather Watson; and one brother the late Mr. Bruce Horton.

A native of Augusta, Mrs. Newman attended Bethany Chapel. She was a loving wife and mother.
