James Marshall Hosgood (SFC US Army ret.)

Evans – James Marshall Hosgood, beloved husband of Shirley Drake Hosgood, entered into rest on Tuesday, May 3, 2016 at his residence.

Funeral services will be held at 3:00PM on Saturday, May 7, 2016 at the chapel at Bellevue Memorial Gardens with Rev. Robert Gosey officiating. Burial will follow with full military honors.

Mr. Hosgood, a native of Pennsylvania, was a twenty two year veteran of the United States Army. He served two tours of duty in Vietnam, and was awarded two Purple Hearts, three Bronze Stars, one of which was awarded with a V device, and the Vietnam Cross of Gallantry. He will be remembered as a good and loving husband, father and grandfather.

In addition to his wife, Shirley, he is survived by his son; Jason Hosgood (Heather), his grandchildren; Melanie and Olivia, his sisters; Janice Wetzel and Jody Graham, and his brother; Eddie Hosgood. He was preceded in death by his parents; Marshall and Millie Hosgood and his brother; Ronald Hosgood.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday evening, May 6, 2016 from 6:00 until 8:00 PM.
