James Byron Jimbo Forshee

Captain James Byron “Jimbo” Forshee, U.S. Army, Retired, 77, beloved husband of Carole Forshee, entered into rest on Sunday, January 29, 2017 at Select Specialty Hospital.

In addition to his wife, Carole, Mr. Forshee is survived by his children; Donna Forshee, James Forshee, Franklin Read, and Alan Read, his grandchildren; Jessica Burkhalter, Julianne Dillashaw, Evan Read, Jaleigh Read, Rachel Read, Daniel Read, one great grandchild; Jayden Babb, and one brother; Rick Forshee.
Funeral services will be held at 3:00 PM on Sunday, February 19, 2017 at Platt’s Funeral Home Belair Rd. Chapel. Burial date and time, with military honors, are still to be determined. The family will receive friends prior to the service on Sunday, February 19, 2017 from 1:00 PM until the time of service.
