Jack L. Horne, Jr.

Augusta, GA – Mr. Jack Lenwood Horne, Jr., 72, beloved husband of Marcena Cockrell Horne, entered into rest on Monday, November 11, 2013 at his residence.

Graveside services will be held at 1:00 PM on Thursday, November 14, 2013 in Westover Memorial Park with Chaplain Race Lariscy officiating.

Mr. Horne was a 1959 graduate of the Academy of Richmond County. He went on to work at the King Mill for over 40 years until his retirement. Mr. Horne was a big Georgia Bulldog fan. He was a very loving brother and loved his entire family with everything he was.

In addition to his wife, Mr. Horne is survived by his son, Jack Horne (Dawn Hill); his daughters, Catherine Rebecca “Becky” Horne, and Susan Loraine Horne; his sister, Myra Hair (Roy); and by his grandchildren, Cori Horne, Tyler Oglesby, Jackson Horne, Meagan Anderson, Dustin Anderson, and Dalton Hill.
