Martinez,GA.--- Mr. Hezzie O’Neal Hall age 73, husband of Mrs. Barbara Graham Hall entered into rest at his residence on Friday, January 29, 2010.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, February 1, 2010 at 2:00 p.m. in the Platt’s Crawford Avenue Chapel with Reverend Allen Hoskyns officiating. Interment will be private.
Mr. Hall was a lifelong resident of Augusta, he served his country in the U.S. Navy, he was a member of Trinity on the Hill United Methodist Church. He worked in real estate and construction for many years. He was an avid sportsman, he loved to play church softball, and loved coaching little league baseball and pony league.
Survivors include, one son, Sam Hall of Augusta, daughters, Ellie Hall Lewis and husband Dean of Lawrenceville, GA, Melissa Hall Woolever and husband Bruce of Norcross, GA. one brother, Butch Hall (Faye) of Augusta. two sisters, JoAnn Crouch (Phillip) of Augusta, Marie Smith (George) of Thomson and six grandchildren, Ashley Wyatt, Justin Hall, Katie Lewis, Cody Lewis, William Woolever and Phillip Woolever. Mr. Hall was preceded in death by one brother, Callie Hall.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday, January 31, 2010 from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m.
