Henrietta B. Woodward

Augusta, GA---Mrs. Henrietta “Retta” Brigham Woodward, 87, entered into rest on Wednesday, March 17, 2010 at Trinity Hospital of Augusta.
Graveside services and interment will be held at 2:00 pm, today Friday, March 19, 2010 at Westover Memorial Park with Reverend John Pinson officiating.
Mrs. Woodward was a longtime resident of Augusta and loved gardening and her yard. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. Retta was an avid Atlanta Braves and Georgia Bulldog fan.
Mrs. Woodward was preceded in death by her husband, Clarence Everette Woodward, her parents, four brothers and two sisters.
Survivors include two sons and daughters in law, Don and Kitty Woodward of Augusta, GA, Brigham E. and Marijane Woodward of Americus, GA, one sister, Nell Jenkins of Waynesboro, GA, seven grandchildren, nine great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends prior to the service, today Friday, March 19, 2010 from 12:30 pm to 1:30 pm at Platt’s Crawford Avenue.
Pallbearers will be Brett Woodward, Steve Clark, Dalton Chassereau, Kurt Kulling, Greg Jenkins and Brice Ginn.
The family wishes to express their deepest gratitude to Trinity Hospice, for the loving care given to Mrs. Woodward.
