Helen Ziolkowski

North Augusta, SC---Mrs. Helen Handy Ziolkowski, 80, entered into rest on Sunday, July 24, 2016 at University Hospital.

Private family services will be held at a later date.

Mrs. Ziolkowski was a native of Halls Mills, North Carolina, but had been a resident of Martinez, GA and North Augusta, SC for more than 40 years. She was retired from Publix Supermarket, where she was a Cashier, at the North Augusta store. She was well known and had many friends, who affectionately called her Miss Helen.

Miss Helen was preceded in death by her husband, Frank Ziolkowski, parents, Herman M. and Ruth Vannoy Handy, son, Michael Ziolkowski, brother, Jerrell M. Handy, sister, Phyllis H. Palmer, granddaughter, Alicia Ziolkowski and grandson, Justin, Ziolkowski.

She is survived by three sisters and one brother in law, Ora Lee H. Terry and husband, Carl B. Terry of Zionsville, IN, Pat H. Gould of Evans, GA and Sue H. Greene of Martinez, GA, several great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family request that donations be made to the American Cancer Society, 2607 Commons Blvd., Augusta, GA 30909.
