Helen W. Nimmons

Augusta, GA - Mrs. Helen W. Nimmons, 86, of St. John Towers, wife of the late Mr. Albert D. Nimmons, Sr.,has gone to the Mansion in the sky.

Graveside services will be Sunday, January 25, 2009 at 2:00 PM at Westview Cemetery with the Rev. Don Shires officiating.

She worked at a Arsenal Plant in Anniston, AL during WW II. She loved making dolls. She worked with her husband when he owned his Dry Cleaning and Restaurant Business. She was a homemaker having always taken care of her husband and children.

She was the daughter of the late Lucius E. Wright and Emma Phillips Wright. She was preceded in death by her Six Brothers and Four Sisters. Her remaining survivors are two daughters, Emily N. Rooks (Tim), Betty Jane Medlin (Ervin); two sons, Gary C. Nimmons (Janet), A. David Nimmons, Jr.; thirteen grandchildren, Tammy West, Dede Postels, Stephanie Casella, April Deas, Shannon Bernard, Hope Carroll, Crystal Nimmons, Lindy Long, Brett Nimmons, Amanda Aikens; Shannon Mathis, Raven Shrestha, T. J. Williams, and twenty six great grandchildren.
