Grady Roberts

Augusta, GA – Mr. Grady Roberts, 91, entered into rest on Wednesday, September 30, 2009 at Georgia War Veterans Nursing Home.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, October 2, 2009 at Bible Deliverance Chapel at 2:00 PM with Dr. H. K. McKnight and Dr. H. Kelly McKnight officiating. Burial will follow in Hillcrest Memorial Park.
Mr. Roberts was a member of Bible Deliverance Temple, was a veteran of World War II, a former member of the American Legion Post 63 and Richmond County Committee for Good Government. He was a retired Supervisor, in the weaving room, at King Mill.
Survivors include a son, Asa Newton Roberts, sister, Cleo Hammonds, several grandchildren and great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, a son, two brothers and a sister.
The family will receive friends on Thursday, October 1, 2009 at Platt’s Crawford Avenue from 7:00 until 9:00 PM.
