Gail Fleming Mcdonald

Evans, GA---Mrs. Gail Fleming McDonald, 95, entered into rest on Tuesday, March 22, 2011 at Brandon Wilde.

Graveside services will be held at 2:00 pm on Saturday, March 26, 2011 at Westover Memorial Park, with Mr. John Barrett officiating.

Mrs. McDonald moved to Augusta in 1955, when her husband, who was a Special Agent with the FBI, was transferred here from Los Angeles, CA. She was a full time homemaker, rose grower and part time Real Estate agent. She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Augusta and had been a resident of Brandon Wilde since 1995.

She was preceded in death by her husband, James H. McDonald, Sr., parents, Henry Grady and Gail Watkins Fleming, two brothers, Grady Fleming and Barnwell Fleming and a sister, Elsie Matthews.

She is survived by her sons, James Henry McDonald Jr. of Columbia, SC and Patrick Joseph McDonald (Jane) of Charlotte, NC, her daughter, Janna McDonald Goss (Warren) of Boulder, CO and nine grandchildren, Patrick McDonald, David McDonald, Ellen McDonald, Caroline McDonald, Robert McDonald, Chris McDonald, Sara McDonald De Yulio, Julia Blocker and Jordan Blocker.

No visitation has been scheduled. Those desiring to attend the services are asked to meet at Westover Memorial Park, on Saturday.
