Eric Everett Dysinger

Eric Everett Dysinger, 55, entered into rest on Tuesday, August 9, 2022.

He was born on March 9, 1967 in Royal Oak, Michigan to parents Eldon E. Dysinger and Mary (Herrick) Dysinger.

Eric is survived by his wife Anne (Delperdange), his children Keifer Good and Sophie Dysinger, his parents Eldon and Mary Dysinger, his sisters Jennifer Mills and Julie Dysinger, and his nephew Michael Sigler. He is predeceased by his brother in law, Bruce Mills. He is also survived by his aunts, uncles, and several cousins and grandchildren.

Eric loved all things Star Wars (he could answer Star Wars trivia pursuit questions before the entire question was read), engines and cars (including his beloved 2005 GTO “Christine”), 80s music (Duran Duran, Mötley Crüe, with an occasional Shania Twain “I Feel Like a Woman” thrown in), Discovery/History tv shows (Gold Rush, The Curse of Oak Island… or as Sophie called it, The Curse of Nothing), and space/astronomy (daily monitoring of Elon Musk’s SpaceX was a MUST!).

A celebration of Eric’s life will be held at 4:00pm on Monday, August 15, 2022 at Platt’s Funeral Home, Belair Road Chapel, with Chaplain Christie McTier officiating. The family will receive friends 2 hours prior to the service (2:00-4:00pm).

The family requests anyone attending his service to wear something blue, Eric’s favorite color.
