Elizabeth Zapata Zizi Cobb

Martinez,GA- Mrs. Elizabeth “ Zi Z “ Zapata Cobb age 47, wife of Ronnie Cobb entered into rest at her residence on Wednesday, December 17, 2008.

Funeral services will be held on Sunday, December 21, 2008 in the Belair Rd. Chapel of Platt’s Funeral Home at 2:00 p.m. with Reverend Oscar Whiteside officiating.

Survivors include her parents, Hector C. and Chris R. Zapata of Martinez, two daughters, Kookie and Misty Cobb of New Albany, MS , two brothers, Mike Zapata and his wife Debbie of Evans, Rob Zapata and wife Donna also of Evans, two sisters, Maria Dye and husband Alan of Gibson,GA and Felicia Zapata Hughes and husband Spencer of Appling. Three grandchildren, Quitman, Shonna and Cheyenne Hablin all of New Albany,MS. several nieces and nephews , and her fluffy companion Lady Diana.

Zi Zi graduated from Evans High School, and she also graduated from the Georgia Military Academy. She love to coach T-Ball for the Martinez-Evans little league, she was a member of the Martinez Merchants and the Columbia County Field & Game Club. Zi Zi enjoyed all sports.

The family will receive friends at the Funeral Home Saturday from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m.
