Elizabeth Erickson Beneteau

January 25, 1933 — November 18, 2009

Augusta, GA- Mrs. Elizabeth Erickson Beneteau, went to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on November 18, 2009 at her home.

Funeral services will be on Saturday, November 21, 2009 at 2:00 PM at Pineview Baptist Church, 117 Pleasant Home Road, Martinez, GA with Pastor Micheal Davenport and Brian Heckber officiating. Burial will follow in Summerville Cemetery.

Born in Augusta, GA on January 25, 1933 to Martha Alexander Erickson and Stanley Erickson. She was the wife of the Late Oscar Daniel Beneteau. She was a member of the last graduating class of Tubman High School and attended Augusta College. Elizabeth was a long-time Schnauzer groomer and loved all animals. She was a volunteer at Master’s Table Soup Kitchen for many years. Many people have been touched by Elizabeth’s generosity and kindness.

She is survived by one cousin, Harriet Kilpatrick Kinney of Greenwood, SC. Elizabeth leaves behind numerous friends, especially Ann White of Concord, NC and Barbara Fisher of Evans, GA and her faithful companions Sam, Molly, Stella, and Daisy.

Pallbearers will be Don Fisher, Jason Hilley, Conrad Hubert, Don Wilson, Billy Johnson, and Jim Schuman.

Honorary Pallbearers will be The Ladies of Faith Sunday School who showed kindness to Elizabeth during her courageous battle with Leukemia.

A very special thanks is extended to Janie Griffin, Jewel Brown, and Joann Oakes for the many hours spent driving to and from appointments.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, November 21, 2009 from 1:00 pm until service time at Pineview Baptist Church.
