Elisabeth Adams Gilstrap

Augusta, GA - Elisabeth Adams Gilstrap, 60, entered into rest on Monday, June 18, 2012 at Augusta Hills Nursing Home.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00AM on Saturday, June 23, 2012 at Warren Baptist Church with Dr. John Bryan and Rev. Dave Dillard officiating. Burial will follow at Westover Memorial Park.

Elisabeth worked for Fitz-Symms photographers from high school until her retirement. She was a member of Warren Baptist Church and a former member of Curtis Baptist Church. Elisabeth was a selfless and giving person. Her smile could brighten anyone’s day. She was a loving mother, grandmother, and sister. She will be deeply missed by everyone that ever met her.

Survivors include her husband Herbert Gilstrap of Augusta, GA, two sons, Herb Gilstrap and wife Luana of Augusta, GA, Adam Gilstrap and wife Marie of Augusta, GA, mother, Evelyn Adams of Augusta, GA, one brother, Ray Adams and wife Debbie of Martinez, GA, and seven grandchildren, Quentin, Nick, Hunter, Addison, Briana, Ariana, and Brayden.

Honorary pallbearers will be members of the Anderson Ladies Sunday School Class.

The family will receive friends from 6:00PM until 8:00 PM on Friday, June 22, 2012 at the funeral home.
