Edna Mcintosh Mrs. Hill

Martinez – Mrs. Edna McIntosh Hill, beloved wife of Alton Hill, entered into rest on Wednesday, December 30, 2015 at Doctor’s Hospital.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, January 2, 2016 at Platt’s Belair Road Chapel with the Rev. Dr. Larry Brown officiating. Burial will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Park.

Mrs. Hill was retired from the Graniteville Company Sibley Division after 42 years as a weaver. She was a longtime active member of Victory Baptist Church. She was a past president of H2U of Augusta and 1st runner up in the Ms. Senior Georgia-Carolina Pageant 2005

In addition to her husband, Alton, she is survived by her son; Richard Hill (Cheryl), her daughter; Vickie Delrie, her grandchildren; Ashlee Delrie and Chris, Melissa and Stephen Hill, as well as six great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her granddaughters, Stephanie Delrie and Rebecca Delrie.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday, January 1, 2016 from 6:00 until 8:00 PM.
