Edna Marcile Williams

Mrs. Edna Marcile Williams, 89, entered into rest on Tuesday, November 14, 2017 at Doctors Hospital.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM on Monday, November 20, 2017 at Westover Memorial Park with the Rev. Dr. J. Andrew Menger officiating.

Mrs. Williams, a homemaker, was a native of Black Oak, Arkansas. She graduated from Black Oak High School and went on to attend Arkansas State University. She was a member of St. John United Methodist Church.

She is survived by her son, Mark Williams, a grandson, Mark Johnsen, two brothers in law, Wesley Meyers and Donald Blackwell, a sister in law, Jewel Strickland, and
many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jim, her daughter, Lynda Williams Johnsen and son in law, Tor Johnsen, a grandson, Kristofer Johnsen, as well as her 15 brothers and sisters.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday evening, November 19, 2017 from 7:00 until 9:00 PM.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorial donations may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Pl, Memphis, TN 38105.
