Mr. Eddie Dean Hughes
Augusta - Mr. Eddie Dean Hughes, 62, beloved husband of Robin Hughes, entered into rest on Thursday, June 18, 2015 at his residence.
A memorial service will be held at 1:00 pm on Wednesday, June 24, 2015 at Platt's Crawford Avenue Chapel with Pastor Ray Lewis officiating.
Mr. Hughes was employed as a heavy equipment operator with Augusta Richmond County for 25 years.
In addition to his wife, Robin, he is survived by a son, Christopher Hughes, a daughter, Casey Hughes, his grandsons, Chance Hughes and Robert Plyler, and a granddaughter, Skyler Hughes. He was preceded in death by his parents, Harold Hughes and Margaret Michaels Didier Hughes, and a son, Eddie Dean Hughes, Jr.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to service time at the funeral home.
