Dorothy Elizabeth Jones Mrs. Redd

Dearing, GA---Mrs. Dorothy Elizabeth Jones Redd, 92, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Tuesday, May 14, 2013 at Warrenton Health and Rehab Center.
Graveside services will be held at 11:00 am tomorrow Friday, May 17, 2013 at West View Cemetery with Pastor James McCollum officiating.
Mrs. Redd was born in Augusta, Georgia on September 29, 1920. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother.
Mrs. Redd was preceded in death by her loving husband of 60 years, Mr. Robert Glover Redd, Sr. and her sister, Mrs. Myrtis Hall.
She is survived by her son, Bobby Redd (Helen) of Dearing, GA, her daughter, Patsy Conner (Emory) of Anderson, SC, two granddaughters, Wende McDonald of Laurens, SC and Angie Nimmons (Mike) of Anderson, SC, one step grandson, Michael Turner (Jennifer) of Martinez, GA, six great grandchildren, Ashton Brock, Stormie McDonald, Ashleigh and Amber Nimmons and Kyleigh, Jesse and Blake Turner, her sister, Jo Ann Amerson (Bill) of Augusta, GA and her brother, Harry Agner (LaVerne) of Augusta, GA and a number of nieces and nephews.
The family would like to express a special “Thank You” to Dr. Frank Powell and the staff of Warrenton Health and Rehab Center, for their excellent care and the love shown to Mrs. Redd.
The family will receive friends this evening Thursday, May 16, 2013 from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Platt’s Crawford Avenue.
