Deborah Wombles

AUGUSTA, Ga. – Deborah Ann “Debbie” Wombles, 62, entered into rest Wednesday, January 1, 2014 at University Hospital.
A graveside service will be held at 3:00 PM on Monday, January 6, 2014 at Hillcrest Memorial Park with Mr. Robert Loar officiating.
Debbie was born in Augusta to the late Lois Wilson and James L. Wombles, Sr. She worked as an administrative assistant for Roper Heating and Air until her retirement. Debbie was of the Baptist faith.
Survivors include two sisters; Betty Jackson and Jackie Brown, both of Martinez, numerous nieces and nephews, and god-daughter, Christa Avret.
Debbie was preceded in death by sisters, Bessie Mae Pritchard and Johnnie Smith-Graham and brother, James Luther Wombles, Jr.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday, January 6, 2014 from 1:30 PM until 2:30 PM.
