Augusta, GA – Mr. Daniel Frank Favors, 59, husband of Mrs. Elaine Kathy Favors, entered into rest on Thursday, September 12, 2013 at Georgia Regents Medical Center.

Funeral services will be at 12:00 PM on Friday, September 20, 2013 at Platt’s Crawford Avenue Chapel with Reverend Ray Farmer officiating. Burial will follow in Bellevue Memorial Gardens.

Mr. Favors was a very hard worker and loved what he did for over 35 years in the plumbing business. He loved fishing, animals, and riding his motorcycle. Mr. Favors loved his family and would have done anything to help someone. He loved his grandson Branson with all his heart. Mr. Favors was loved and cherished by all and will be deeply missed.

Additional survivors include three daughters, Nichole Favors Pope (Ricky), Danielle Favors, Angela Favors Coleman two stepsons, Billy Kelly, Jimmy Kelly; two stepdaughters, Crystal Kelly, Kathy Hanlin; one brother, David Favors (Sherry); one sister, Patsy Ratley (Charles); eight grandchildren, Branson Favors, Blakley Pope, Christopher Porter, Casey Porter, Hope Martin, Lee Porter, Leah Knight, Heather McFaddin; eight step-grandchildren; six great grandchildren; and brother in law, Frank Degroat.

Mr. Favors was preceded in death by his first wife, Debra Eubanks Favors; and by his sister, Mrs. Carolyn Owens.

Pallbearers will be, Paul Rogers, Frank Degroat, Billy Kelly, Randy Favors, Danny Dodgen, Sam Jones, Matthew Seigler, and Grandson Branson Daniel Favors.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday evening, September 19, 2013 from 6:00 to 8:00 PM.
