Charlie Howard Papa Williams

Augusta, GA – Charlie Howard Williams, beloved husband of Marion Mrok Williams, went to be with his Lord on Saturday, April 19, 2014.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM on Tuesday, April 22, 2014 at West Acres Baptist Church with Pastor Larry Harmon officiating. The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM until service time in the sanctuary.

Mr. Williams was a member of Local #150 Plumbers and Steamfitters for over 50 years. He was an active member of West Acres Baptist Church and the Praise Sunday School Class. Mr. Williams loved playing golf, reading, traveling, and spending time with his family.

In addition to his wife, Mr. Williams is survived by his children; James Howard Williams (Janice), Sandra Redmon (Scott), Debbie Clark, Billy Beasley (Margaret), Jeff Beasley (Cheryl), Jimmy Beasley (Jackie), Brian Beasley (Brenda), and Mike Benson (Barbara); his sisters, Shirley Beckworth and Ruby Jones; and by his sixteen grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his sisters, Edna Griffin and Marie Johns.
