Charles W. Finch

Mr. Charles Walter Finch, Sr., beloved husband of Brenda Cox Finch, entered into rest on Friday, September 21, 2018 at University Hospital.
Graveside services will be held at 2:00 PM on Sunday, September 23, 2018 at Bellevue Memorial Gardens with Mr. David Cato officiating.
Mr. Finch was a 1965 graduate of Evans High School. He went to work at Augusta Newsprint, where he retired after 32 years of service. He enjoyed spending time with his family and loved farming his land in McDuffie County.
In addition to his wife, Brenda, he is survived by his daughters; Cathy Cato (David) and Kelli Mock (Jim), his grandchildren; Kaylie, Jacob, Jamie and Sam, and his siblings, John Finch (Sandra), Fred Finch (Regina), Nancy Waks and Dennis Finch (Beth). He was preceded in death by his parents; Lester and Lillian Finch, his son, Charlie, and a sister, Donna Clark.
The family will receive friends at Platt’s Belair Road Chapel, prior to the service on Sunday, from 12:30 until 1:30.
