Catherine Lewis

Catherine Lewis, 89, loving wife of the late Gordon Lewis, entered into rest on Sunday, July 3, 2016.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, July 9, 2016 at Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church with Father Vasile Bitere officiating. Burial will follow at Magnolia Cemetery.

Catherine was born in Heraklion, Crete, Greece. She was a member of Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church. Catherine moved to the United States after marrying her husband, who was an officer in the military. She was a loving and devoted wife, mother, and grandmother.

Survivors include her daughter; Eva Foreman, one sister; Sophia Villanueva, two grandchildren; Rachel Ashley (Justin), Catherine Foreman, and son-in-law; Jeffrey L. Foreman. She was preceded in death by her brother; Evangelos Papadakis, and sister; Barbara Chaltas.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM on Friday, July 8, 2016 with a Trisagion prayer service at 7:00 PM at Platt’s Funeral Home Crawford Avenue Chapel.
