Carolyn B. Williams

Carolyn Bohler Williams, wife of the late Dan C. Williams, Sr., went to be with the Lord on Saturday, December 23, 2017. Carolyn was born in Augusta to the late Charles T. Bohler, Sr. and Lois Story Bohler. She graduated from Tubman High School in 1951. She worked for Southern Bell in the 1950s, and later as a dental assistant at Ft. Gordon (Pediatric Clinic) and the V.A. Medical Center, where she retired after 20 years of service.
She is survived by her children, Dan Calvin Williams, Jr. (Carol) and Tina Williams Zimmerman (Steve); her grandchildren, Adam Williams, Anne Z. Phillips, and Joy Zimmerman; her brother Neil Bohler, and many beloved nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by her eldest brother, Charles T. Bohler, Jr.
Carolyn loved taking her grandchildren on fun outings when they were young. She loved taking care of her yard. She loved The Hill Baptist Church, the Faith Seekers Class, the WMU, and the Fellowship Club. She loved.

A Visitation will be held from 10:00 – 11:00 am on Wednesday, December 27th at The Hill Baptist Church in Augusta, and a Memorial Service will follow at 11:00 a.m., Rev. Ron Jones and Rev. Fred Gunter officiating.
