Carlton Carl Cole, Jr.

Augusta, GA – Mr. Carlton “Carl” Cole, Jr., 81, beloved husband of Sandra B. Cole, entered into rest on Monday, October 10, 2016.

Memorial services will be held at 1:00 PM on Saturday, October 22, 2016 at St. Mark United Methodist Church with Rev. Linda Birchall officiating. The family will receive friends from 12:00 until service time at the church.

Carl was born in Quantico, VA to Carlton G. Cole, Sr. and Bernice Muire Cole. He was retired from CSX, where he was an outstanding sales manager. Carl was a member of the Jane Wells Sunday School Class, a past president of the Auburn Alum Club, a past president of the City Pool League, part of the Senior Citizens Council, a member of the Silver Haired Legislature, and he delivered meals on wheels. After retirement he was able to travel the world with his wife of 57 years, Sandra.

Carl leaves behind but is not forgotten by his wife, Sandra; his two sons, Chris and Bryan Cole; three grandchildren, Lauren, Sam, and Josh Cole; and many other friends and family members.
