Carl Lee Rigdon

October 3, 1933 — June 12, 2020

Carl Lee Rigdon, age 86 entered into rest Friday, June 12, 2020.

Carl was born in Bulloch County and spent most of his life in Savannah. He proudly served in the United States Army during the Korean War, and he worked for Union Camp (now known as International Paper) for more than 40 years. A true family man, Carl worked hard to provide for his family and was a devoted husband, father, and friend. He would truly give anyone the shirt off his back. When he wasn’t working or spending time with his family, Carl enjoyed watching the Atlanta Braves play.

He is survived by his two daughters, Angela Rigdon Baker (Howard) of Matinez and Amanda Rene Rigdon of Savannah; two sisters, Vareta Girardeau and Jackie Courson, both of Savannah; five grandchildren, Courtney Leigh Rigdon, Lindsay Gail Huey, Logan Garrett Huey, Jay Michal Baker, and Benjamin Thomas Baker; and four great grandchildren, Rusty, Jake, Mikayla, and Masen.

Services are private.
