Brandon Charles Hicks

Evans, GA – Mr. Brandon Charles Hicks, 29, entered into rest on Saturday, December 19, 2015 in Mount Pleasant, SC.

A celebration of Brandon’s life will be held at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, December 23, 2015 at Platt’s Belair Road Chapel with the Rev. Barry Clanton officiating.

Brandon was a 2005 joint graduate of Lakeside and Greenbrier High Schools. He attained an Associate’s Degree in business from the University of West Georgia where he was a member of the Kappa Alpha Fraternity. Brandon was a standout high school athlete in both football and baseball. He loved the outdoors and was an avid golfer, fisherman, and hunter. Anything to do with the water and outdoor sports – well that was our Brandon.

Brandon is survived by his father, Charles “Chip” Hicks; his mother, Diane L. Hicks; his brothers, Kyle and Tanner Hicks; his grandmothers, Gloria Hensley Hicks and Dorothy Fitzsimmons; his aunts, Denise Austin, Kate Whitaker, Toni Lanier (Ronnie), Billy Jo Sullivent, and Leslie Watford (Glenn); his uncles, Dana Lamberson, Daniel Fitzsimmons, Calvin Chance (Cheryl), and Sims Harris (Pam); and by his 44 cousins.

If so desired and in lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the CSRA Community Foundation for The Brandon Hicks Fund, 1450 Greene Street, Suite 228, Augusta, GA, 30901.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday evening, December 22, 2015 from 6:00 to 8:00 PM.

God bless our Brandon! We will miss him dearly and we know we will see him in Heaven.
