Billy L. Mr. Jones

Augusta, GA---Mr. Billy L. Jones, 78, entered into rest on Wednesday, January 25, 2012 at Candler County Hospital, in Metter, GA.
Graveside services will be held at 3:00 pm today Friday, January 27, 2012 at Hillcrest Memorial Park with Reverend Timothy Parrish officiating.
Mr. Jones was a native of Swainsboro, GA, but had been a resident of Augusta for many years. He was a veteran of the U. S. Army and served during the Korean Conflict. He retired from Kimberly Clark after 22 years service.
Mr. Jones was preceded in death by his wife, Frances M. Jones, son, William Michael Jones, parents, Es Jones and Beddie Mae Samples Jones and his brother, Bobby Jones.
Survivors include his sons, Brian K. Jones (Tammy) of Martinez, GA, Gerald R. Buckner (Kay) of Aiken, SC, daughter, Patricia Walworth (Wayne) of Hephzibah, GA, brothers, Sylvester Parrish of Hephzibah, GA, Huie Williams (Ruth) of Augusta, GA, sisters, Alda Brown (Gene) of Martinez,GA, Carolyn Coursey (Edwin) of Edgefield, SC, seven grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
The family will receive friends today Friday, January 27, 2012 from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm at Platt’s Crawford Avenue.
