Bill Wallace

On Monday, February 26, 2018, Bill Wallace passed away unexpectedly at the age of 65 from natural causes while skiing in Park City, Utah.

Bill will be forever remembered by his sisters Suzanne (Rick) Carpenter and Diane (Victor) Rodriguez, and his brother Jimmy Wallace. Bill will also be forever remembered by his 2 nieces, 3 nephews and extended family and dear friends.

A celebration of Bill's life will be held on Saturday, March 10, 2018 at 2:00 PM in the chapel at Platt's Funeral Home, 721 Crawford Avenue, Augusta, with Rev. Sid Gates officiating.

Bill was a graduate of Augusta College and worked a combined 34 years with the Richmond County DFCS and the Georgia DHR/DFCS. Bill loved good food and socializing, enjoyed traveling with family and friends, and was an avid sports enthusiast. He had a wonderful smile and voice that could light up a room.
