Betty Murphey Harden

– Mrs. Betty Murphey Harden, 86, beloved wife of the late Herbert Leroy Harden, entered into rest on Monday, December 12, 2016.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday, December 16, 2016 at St. Mark United Methodist Church with Rev. Gary Dean and Rev. Linda Birchall officiating. Interment to follow at Hillcrest Memorial Park.

Mrs. Harden was a devoted church member. She will be deeply missed by her loving family.

Mrs. Harden is survived by her daughters, Vickie Amerson (George), Barbara Brock, and Joan Harden; her eight grandchildren, Shane Amerson, Tony Horne, Jr. (Michelle), Beth McNair (Tommy), Angie May (Charles), Trisha Gregg (Justin), Michael Brock, Lee Harden (Pam), and Alan Harden; her fifteen great-grandchildren, and her four great-great-grandchildren. In addition to her husband, Mrs. Harden was preceded in death by her daughter, Martha Horne; and by her granddaughter, Amy Bailey.

Pallbearers will be Troy Milan, Mark Williams, Jeff Thornton, Chris Bailey, John Brown, and Peyton Videtto.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday evening, December 15, 2016 from 6:00 until 8:00 PM.
