Augusta, GA---Mrs. Betty Jean Jenkins Brady, 78, entered into rest on Tuesday, April 12, 2016 at University Hospital. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm on Friday, April 15, 2016 in the Platts Crawford Avenue Chapel with Chaplain Tim Stiers officiating. Interment will follow at Westover Memorial Park. Mrs. Brady was born July 3, 1937 in Matthews (Jefferson County), Georgia. As an army wife and mother traveling around the world for over two decades, Betty Brady was the ultimate homemaker and caregiver to her family. She truly lived for her husband, daughter and grandchildren and was anxiously waiting for the arrival of her first great grandchild, Ryder, due in May. She will be dearly missed and forever in the hearts of her family members. Mrs. Brady was preceded in death by her parents, Elliott and Fannie Jenkins, a brother, Howard Jenkins and a sister, Grace Jenkins. She is survived by her husband, Terrance L. Brady of Augusta, GA, daughter and son in law, Joye and Aaron Clements of Evans, GA, granddaughter, Amanda Clements, granddaughter and grandson in law, Alyssa and Corey Hickman and grandson, Brad Clements, her siblings, Phillip Jenkins, Sarah Jenkins, Miriam Jenkins, Maurice Jenkins, Joe Jenkins, Barbara Cosby and Ann Jenkins and five nieces and nephews, including William Jenkins. Pallbearers will be Aaron Clements, Brad Clements, Corey Hickman, William Jenkins, John Ryan Mooney and Robby Coleman. The family will receive friends on Friday, April 15, 2016 from 1:00 pm until the time of services at Platts Crawford Avenue.
