Barbara S. Mason

Augusta, GA – Barbara S. Mason, 77, wife of the late Harland Wayne Mason, went to her Heavenly home on Thursday, September 18, 2014.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00AM on Friday, September 19, 2014 at Platt’s Funeral Home Crawford Ave. Chapel with Rev. Danny McClure officiating.

Barbara graduated from ARC in 1954. She worked in Mr. Starkey’s Law Firm and in the medical field at MCG for many years. She loved her little dog, Peppy, and her cat, Stacey. She and her husband, Harland, had affectionate nicknames for each other. He called her “Munchie” and she called him “Duda”. Barbara loved her Lord and lived her life faithfully for Him. She will be missed by all who knew her.

Survivors include her cousins; Gladys and Bill Rogers, Geri Ferland, Murray Williams, Brandon Williams, Andy and Carmen Williams, aunt; Juanita Linnenkohl, and dear friends and caretaker; Bobby and Linda Lack.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to service time at the funeral home.
