Anne Farriba Lefevre

Houston, TX - Anne Farriba LeFevre 83, beloved wife of 54 years to the late Louis Bigelow LeFevre, entered into rest on February 11, 2011.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM on Wednesday February 16, 2011 at Platt’s Crawford Avenue Chapel. Burial will follow in Westover Memorial Park.

Mrs. LeFevre was a native of Augusta, Georgia. She was the daughter of the late Ireland D. and Louise Ivey Farriba. She was a devoted wife and mother. She attended Limestone College. She had many interests including her work as an artist and playing the organ. She was a former member of St. John Methodist Church while living in Augusta, and currently a member of Memorial Drive Methodist Church, Houston.

Survivors include her son, Louis B. LeFevre, Jr. and wife Katherine Cook LeFevre; her daughter Kathryn LeFevre Schenk and husband Gary Lee Schenk, Houston; and grandchildren, Erika Anne Schenk, Andrew Lee Schenk, Michael Frederick LeFevre, and Matthew Ireland LeFevre, all of Houston.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. John Methodist Church, 736 Greene Street, Augusta, GA 30901.

The family will receive friends from 10:00 a.m. until 10:45 a.m. Wednesday at Platt’s Funeral Home.
