Anne Blythe Althisar

Anne Harper Althisar died after a long illness on Sunday, January 18, 2015.

Graveside services will be held at 11:00 AM on Monday, January 26, 2015 at Church of the Good Shepherd, 2230 Walton Way, Augusta, GA 30904.

Mrs. Althisar, the daughter of the late Claude M. and Icie C. Harper was born in Royston, GA, an alumnus of La Grange College and GSCW, an appliance sales manager with Sears while her husband was in medical school, office manager for her husband’s Thomson medical practice, and taught school at the Episcopal Day School.

She is survived by her husband, Dr. Henry M. Althisar; a daughter, Charlotte A. and son-in-law, Roger E. Templeton of Martinez, GA; a son, Henry M. Althisar, Jr. of Durham, NC; a grandson, Roger E. and daughter-in-law, Becky B. Templeton, Jr. of Fargo, ND; and three granddaughters, Amelia, Olivia, and Eliza Althisar of Durham, NC.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in her name to Trinity Home Health and Hospice Services.
