Augusta, GA - It is with great sadness that the family of Amanda H. Moseley announces her passing after a brief illness on Saturday, July 16, 2011, at the age of 93 years.
A native of Tatnall County, GA, Amanda attended Georgia State College for Women in Milledgeville, GA and graduated with a degree in education. Amanda devoted her life to enriching the lives of others through teaching home economics for Richmond County for over 50 years.
Amanda will be lovingly remembered by her children, Frances V.L. Moseley and Ben H. Moseley, Jr. (Sandi), and by her grandchildren, Stephanie M. Clark (Simon) and Tiffany A. Moseley. Amanda will also be fondly remembered by her great-grandchildren, Tyler and Lorelai Clark.
A graveside funeral service will be held on Tuesday, July 19 at 11:00 AM at Westover Memorial Cemetery, 2601 Wheeler Road, Augusta, GA 30904 with Dr. Gregory DeLoach officiating.
Memorial donations in memory of Amanda can be made to the First Baptist Church of Augusta, 3500 Walton Way Extension, Augusta, GA 30909.
