Alvin Eugene Turner

incolnton – Mr. Alvin Eugene Turner, 78, beloved husband of the late Barbara Jean Turner, entered into rest on Thursday, September 1, 2016 at his residence.

A memorial service will be held at 3:00 PM on Sunday, September 4, 2016 at Platt’s Belair Road Chapel with the Rev. Robert Adams officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior.

Mr. Turner was survived by his son; Tommy Turner (Marilyn), his daughter; Kathy Grimes (Dyson), his brothers; Marion Turner (Mae) and Danny Turner (Doris), his sisters; Carolyn Turner and Alice Foster (Randy), his grandchildren; Brandi Masserant (Brian), Chase Grimes (Kat), Christopher Grimes (Melanie), and Sarah Turner and his great grandchildren; Alisa, Johnathan, Jordan, Breanna, Zachary, Elizabeth, Maddie, Kate, Makaylah and Ava.
