Willie J. Sister Taylor

Martinez, GA – Willie J. “Sister” Taylor, 100, entered into rest on Tuesday, March 28, 2017.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday, March 31, 2017 at Platt’s Funeral Home Crawford Ave. Chapel with Rev. Gary McWhorter officiating. Burial will follow at West View Cemetery.

Willie was born in Augusta, GA and was preceded in death by her husband of 52 years, the late James H. Taylor. She was a member of Martinez UMC.

Survivors include her son; James A. Taylor (Irene) of Martinez, GA, two grandchildren; Troy Taylor of Martinez, GA, Tracy Taylor (Colleen) of Folsom, CA, two great grandchildren; Amanda Taylor and Melanie Taylor, both of Folsom, CA.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
