William "Bill" Nicholas went home on June 2, 2025 to be with his wife, Shirley, to whom he was married to for over 60 years, and their son Charlie. He was predeceased by his parents and two of his brothers, Louis (Eleanor) and Richard. His brother Kenneth and his sister Florence (Bill) will miss him greatly along with multiple nieces and nephews.
After serving his country in the Navy, Bill spent many years working for Starter Sportswear before retiring from Club Car. His time afterwards was spent continuing to help those that had served in the Armed Forces through his work at the American Legion and riding his motorcycle. Bill never let anything keep him from his goals, never met a stranger, would help anyone in need, and strived to make the most of life. His passing has left a hole in the many lives he has touched over the years.
A Celebration of Life will be held at American Legion Post 192 in Evans, Georgia on Sunday, June 22, 2025 at 12 PM, followed by graveside services at Bellevue Cemetery at 2 PM.
