William E. Macky

Augusta,GA- Mr. William Macky age 89,husband of the late Dorothy Huntington Macky, entered into rest at the Medical College of Georgia on Thursday, January 17, 2008.

Graveside services will be held on Saturday January 19, 2008 at 2:00 p.m. in Westover Memorial Park with Rev. Dane G. Wagner officiating.

Survivors include; one daughter, Susan M. Valle and her husband Jim of Gilbert,SC,
Two grandchildren, Kim Whitfield and her husband David of Martinez, John Baxley Jr. and his wife Gina of Ft. Stewart ,GA. Five great grandchildren, Chase and Kalie Whitfield, Megan and Mason Dudose, Carson Tyler Baxley. Nephews, Bill ( Linda) Ronnie, Jimmy, and Jerry Macky. Special friends, Gail Cash, Bernice Stewart, Essie McKie, Denise Thompson and Miss Dot.

Mr. Macky was predeasced by two brothers, Clifton and John Macky , and one sister, Elizabeth Macky. Mr. Macky served in the U.S. Army and a veteran of World War II.
He retired from Stockton & Son as a construction foreman with over forty years of service. He was a charter member at St. Mark United Methodist Church.
