William E. Blanchard, Sr.

Augusta, GA---Mr. William E. Blanchard, Sr. entered into rest on Thursday, January 24, 2013, at his residence.

He is survived by his wife of 65 years, Anne Cave Blanchard. He is also survived by his daughter, Janet Cicile Kramer and her husband, Ted and his son, William E. Blanchard, Jr. and his wife, Melissa, his sister, Betty Blanchard Barnard and her husband, Doug. He had three grandchildren, Anna Harris, Ford Harris and Elly Blanchard and one great grandson, Caden Harris.

A lifelong Augusta resident, he graduated from Richmond Academy and Mercer University. He was a deacon at First Baptist Church of Augusta and was a member of The Crusaders Sunday School Class.

Graveside services will be held today Saturday, January 26, 2013 at 2:00 pm at Westover Memorial Park, with Dr. Jacob Malone officiating.

The family will receive friends at the family residence.
