William Bill Moore

Augusta, GA – Mr. William “Bill” Walter Moore, 80, beloved husband of 62 years to Jacqueline Swearingen Moore, entered into rest on Monday, April 7, 2014.

Graveside services will be held at 2:00 PM on Friday, April 11, 2014 in Hillcrest Memorial Park. The family will receive friends Friday afternoon prior to the service from 12:00 until 1:00 at Platt’s Crawford Avenue.

Mr. Moore was a 1950 graduate of Boy’s Catholic High. He retired after 40 years of dedicated service at Fort Gordon in the engineering department. Mr. Moore loved his family trips and also his animals.

In addition to his wife, Mr. Moore is survived by his daughter, Crystal Wise (Mike); his sister, Frances Carswell; his grandchildren, Amber Harrison (Dan), Brian Wise, Michael Wise (Terri), Timmy Wise (Leslie), and Margo Pulliam; and his great-grandchildren, Joey, Curtis, Abby, Emma, Jack, Kaci, Logan, Tessa, and Ashley. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Cheryl Pulliam; and his brother, Frank Morton Moore, Jr.
