Willard E. Sonny Frost, Jr.

Martinez, GA – Willard E. “Sonny” Frost, Jr., 61, entered into rest on Friday, October 30, 2009 at his residence.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM on Tuesday, November 3, 2009 at Platt’s Funeral Home Belair Rd. chapel with Rev. Sonny Jones officiating. Burial will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Park.

Sonny was a loving father and devoted Paw-Paw. He enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren; they were the light of his life. Sonny was a faithful member of Word of Life Church @ Keg Creek and loved his church family dearly. He will be greatly missed by all of his family and friends.

Survivors include his mother; Edith Jones and husband Kermit of Martinez, GA, two sons; Clay Frost and wife Lori of Martinez, GA, Brad Barbee and wife Deborah of North Augusta, SC, two daughters; Heather Rhoden and husband Tony of Evans, GA, Shanna Johnson and husband Sean of North Augusta, SC, one sister; Barbara Chalker and husband Andy of Gibson, GA, 11 grandchildren; Cody, Shelby, Seth, Chandler, Madison, Clayton, Landon, Braidon, Ansley, Pressley, Whitney, and niece; Anna Tiner and husband Mark. He was preceded in death by his father; the late Willard E. Frost, Sr.

The family will receive friends on Monday, November 2, 2009 from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM at the funeral home.
