Warren Baird Eubanks

Warren Baird Eubanks, 89, beloved husband of 66 years to Gloria Barton Eubanks, entered into rest on March 3, 2024.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday, March 9, 2024 at Platt’s Crawford Avenue Chapel with Rev. Stewart Farley officiating. Interment with Military Honors to follow at Magnolia Cemetery.

Mr. Eubanks was born and raised in Augusta to the late Walter Shelton Eubanks, Sr. and Sarah Baird Eubanks Leonard. He graduated from the Academy of Richmond County and the University of Georgia. Mr. Eubanks served in the US Army and went on to work as Hatchery Manager in several different Southeastern states with the US Fish and Wildlife Service until his retirement. After retirement, he moved to Christiansburg, VA for 25 years, then to Rome, GA for 6 years to be closer to family and lastly to Lithia Springs, GA. Prior to and during retirement, Mr. Eubanks loved serving the Lord in any capacity he could with the Rhema Christian Center in Lewisburg, WV and later at Triedstone Church in Blacksburg, VA. He was greatly loved as a man of God, husband, father, son, brother, and friend. He will be missed by all who knew him.

In addition to his wife, Mr. Eubanks is survived by his children, Baird Eubanks (Nancy), Mark Eubanks (Carol) and Sabrina Burke (Edward); his grandchildren, David Eubanks (Amy), Rebecca Collar (Keith Bellanger), Gus Eubanks, Matthew Eubanks (Shambi), Nathan Eubanks (Syreeta), Jonathan Eubanks (Bethany), Brittany Catrino (Joey), Sarah Woody (Joshua), Chase Eubanks, Lucius Burke, Stephen Burke (Hannah) and Colista Burke; his 23 great-grandchildren; and nephew, Shelton Eubanks, III.
