Virginia Mckinney

Virginia Evans McKinney, 100, beloved wife of the late Roy McKinney, entered into rest on January 30, 2024.

Graveside services will be held at 3:00 PM on Sunday, February 4, 2024 at West View Cemetery with Chaplain Dexter Lambert officiating.

Mrs. McKinney was a longtime member of Woodlawn Baptist Church where she was a part of the Faith Bible Class. She was also a member of the Augusta-Richmond County Committee for Good Government.

Mrs. McKinney is survived by her daughter, Jo Long; her grandchildren, Denise Long, Elaine Phillips, Troy Hightower and Angela Hightower; and by her great-granddaughter, Victoria Long.

The family will receive friends at Platt’s Crawford Avenue on Saturday, February 3, 2024 from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM.
